Due to Covid-19 the 2020 NPAF Bass Tournament has been "POSTPONED" until October 5,6,7 with some minor time changes. Other than that nothing has changed.

The best and most fun tournament of the year is quickly approaching. The 2020 Nevada Police and Fire Games Bass Tournament will once again be held on Lake Havasu.

There are some changes. This year we will have our meeting on Monday October 5th @ TBA . We will be fishing Tuesday the 6th and Wednesday the 7th. In addition our Monday meeting will not be held at a camp site but at Ramada #4. At the meeting we will discuss rules, launch times, have the BBQ, have our raffle, distribute give away bags, take sign ups for the side pots, and I'm sure a few other things.

Last year some of you were charged to come into the park to attend our meeting. I contacted Arizona State Parks and the park manager Daniel Roddy worked very well with us on this issue. They are allowing us, at no extra charge, to have our meeting at Ramada #4 in the camp ground. In addition you will not be charged to come in on Monday for the meeting. Just tell the staff at the gate that your there to attend the Nevada Police and Fire Games meeting. This allows us to have our function without violating any Park Rules, which unknowingly we were. We owe Park Manager Roddy a thank you for his help. (You are still responsible for launch fees as we have been every year.)

To get to Ramada #4 simply enter the camp ground just like before. Stay on the road and instead of turning to come to the camp site, continue on for about another 1/4 mile. After you pass the newly constructed launch site, Ramada #4 will be there on your right. It is covered with picnic tables, toilet facilities, and plenty of room. (Some may still wish to bring a camp chair)

The tournament itself is standard stuff; 5 fish bag, 13 inches, mouth closed tail pinched. Optional side pot of $200 (all in) with payouts on day one and two. Medals given out for overall two day total weights.

As in years past registration MUST be completed on line. I will not be able to accept registration money at the Monday meeting. The web site for registration www.npaf.net/ will open February 1st. DEADLINE for registration is Sept 28th. Keep in mind registration fees allows you fish for medals, the side pots are an additional $200.

Please read the eligibility requirements. Hope to see you there.
